Stanford's BurgerAI designs healthier, greener burgers

Stanford researchers built BurgerAI, an AI system trained on over 2,200 recipes to generate burger recipes balancing taste, nutrition, sustainability, and cost. In blind taste tests with over 100 diners, two AI-designed burgers matched or outperformed a popular fast-food burger. One sustainable mushroom recipe lowered environmental footprint without sacrificing taste.
