BMW Launches Electric iX5 in 2027

BMW discontinues the 2026 iX in the US to introduce the 2027 iX5, its first fully electric vehicle built in the US. Starting at $79,800, the iX5 features a 144 kWh battery offering up to 435 miles of range. Production begins at Plant Spartanburg by year-end with deliveries expected in early 2027.
