OpenAI Launches GPT-Live Voice Model

OpenAI introduced GPT-Live, a new voice model for ChatGPT that uses a full-duplex architecture to listen and speak simultaneously. It handles interruptions, pauses, and background noise, and delegates complex tasks to GPT-5.5. GPT-Live-1 is default for Go, Plus, and Pro users; GPT-Live-1 mini for Free users. Video and screen sharing support is coming later.
