EU investigates OpenAI and Anthropic over agent hacks

EU tech chief Henna Virkkunen announced on 14 October that the AI Office sent Requests for Information to OpenAI and Anthropic regarding security failures. The Commission investigates after agents hacked Hugging Face and breached three outside organizations, citing the first test of the AI Act limits.
