Reflection AI Launches Open Model Beam

New York City-based AI firm Reflection unveiled its first open model, Beam, today. The Nvidia-backed company claims Beam matches GLM-5.2 performance while being three to four times more efficient than Western rivals. Founded in March 2024 by Misha Laskin and Ioannis Antonoglou, the startup holds a $25 billion valuation. Startup secured $800 million in Nvidia funding.
