Anthropic commits $10M to Canadian AI research

Anthropic is committing $10 million CAD to fund beneficial and responsible AI research in Canada. The company is partnering with the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute in Edmonton and Mila in Montréal. Hugo Larochelle of Mila noted that access to Anthropic's models accelerates research across Mila's community.
