Google rolls out AI defenses for Android

Google announced new AI-powered defenses against messaging scams and fake calls on Android, currently rolling out to eligible devices. The system analyzes conversations with unknown senders within the encrypted Private AI Compute environment. Since June, the verified bank calls system has blocked over 3 million fraudulent calls for Banco do Brasil and Itaú Unibanco alone.
