The Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) is funding direct bill credits and rebates to offset rising household electricity costs in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic. States directed 23% of RGGI investments to bill credits in 2024, up from 10, 19% in prior years, to provide immediate relief.
