BYD Refutes "Chinese Military Company" Blacklist

BYD issued a statement to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange denying it is a Chinese military enterprise after the U.S. Department of Defense added it to a list of Chinese military industrial enterprises on June 8, 2026. BYD stated the designation is not a sanctions list and will not affect normal business operations or securities trading.
