Canonical presented its RISC-V enterprise readiness plan at Hot Chips 2026, targeting the RVA23 profile for binary portability. Ubuntu 25.10 moved riscv64 to RVA23, with about 95% of packages available on RISC-V. Testing shows a 55.1% pass rate versus 92% on amd64.
