Tencent is testing TenPayGo, a standalone English-language payment app for overseas visitors to China. The app bypasses the need for a Chinese mobile number or bank account, allowing registration with an email and linking Visa, Mastercard, or Apple Pay. It generates QR codes for transactions via WeChat Pay's infrastructure.
