Canada Funds 10,000 AI Internships With $162M

The Government of Canada is investing $162 million in Mitacs to create 10,000 paid AI work placements for students and recent graduates, aimed at helping small and medium-sized businesses adopt AI. AI Minister Evan Solomon announced the program in Toronto, following through on a June commitment under Canada's National AI Strategy.
