Walapay Raises $4.6M for Stablecoin Payouts

Walapay Inc. raised $4.6 million in a seed round led by Generative Ventures to expand its stablecoin-based payments infrastructure into Latin America, Africa and Asia. The company uses a single API to settle cross-border payments that typically pass through four or five banks. Funding will grow licensing and banking partnerships, plus infrastructure for AI-agent commerce.
