Automattic's board voted to place CEO Matt Mullenweg on leave on Sept. 9, but he reversed the move within 33 hours, ousting rival admins from Slack. He then removed or accepted resignations from two more board members plus CFO Mark Davies and legal chief Andy Missan, installing new directors and advisers. The company owns WordPress.com, Tumblr and WooCommerce.
