MIT's CrysVCD boosts stable material generation

MIT researchers developed CrysVCD, a framework that applies chemistry rules before material generation to improve stability. It achieved 68 percent mechanical stability and 85 percent metastability in crystalline materials, and works with diffusion and language models to create materials for semiconductors and data center cooling.
