Health board apologizes for phishing staff with bogus vacation day

Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services apologized after its IT team sent a phishing test falsely offering an additional paid day off. The test referenced the new CorCare software system and came during staffing shortages and burnout. Interim CEO Ron Johnson said the approach was inappropriate and promised to review future exercises.
