Rivian Developing Teen Mode and Valet Mode

Rivian is developing Teen Mode and Valet Mode for its EVs, Chief Software Officer Wassym Bensaid told The Drive. Teen Mode lets owners create profiles that limit horsepower, off-road modes and stability control settings, tied to digital keys so teens cannot bypass them. Both features are slated for early 2027 across the R1T, R1S and R2.
