South Korea bets $880B on AI hardware

South Korea is investing $880 billion to win the next AI race through hardware, not software. Samsung Group and SK Group plan to build two new chip fabrication plants each in the country's southwest, worth about 800 trillion won combined, to expand memory chip capacity.
