Teachers Face AI Deepfake Harassment by Students

Luis DeSantiago, a substitute teacher in Los Banos, California, found AI-generated sexualized images of himself circulating on TikTok and Snapchat, created by students. The federal Take It Down Act criminalizes publishing nonconsensual intimate images, including computer-generated ones. Other teachers reported similar AI harassment, including impersonation accounts and fake videos.
