SpaceX makes first acquisition post-IPO with coding leader Cursor

SpaceX exercised an option to acquire Cursor, an AI-native code editor operated by Anysphere, in an all-stock transaction valued at $60 billion. The deal, announced June 16, follows months of joint AI model training between SpaceXAI and Cursor. Cursor surpassed $3 billion in annual recurring revenue by early 2026.
