IREN Ltd signed a transmission connection agreement for an 800 megawatt data center in South Australia, its first in Australia. The company partnered with NVIDIA to deploy up to 5 gigawatts of AI infrastructure. NVIDIA received an option to buy up to 30 million IREN shares at $70 per share.
