Utah Charges Kalshi Execs Over Gambling

Utah Attorney General Derek Brown filed criminal charges on Wednesday against prediction market platform Kalshi and executives Tarek Mansour and Luana Lopes Lara for allegedly promoting illegal online gambling. This escalation follows a lawsuit Brown filed last week and comes a day after the CFTC sued Utah to block enforcement of its anti-gambling laws against prediction markets.
