Franz von Holzhausen, Tesla's senior design executive, showed Jay Leno his 400-horsepower Pontiac Solstice with an LS2 V8 swap by Mallet Performance Cars. The car originated from a secret GM assignment by Bob Lutz. Von Holzhausen designed the Solstice, which was originally four-cylinder only.
