WSL Containers tested as Docker Desktop replacement

Microsoft's WSL Containers (wslc) create a private VM per container, unlike Docker Desktop's shared VM. Testing shows wslc matches Docker Desktop's speed, supports Nvidia GPUs, but lacks Compose support natively. A community shim, wslc-compose, bridges the gap. RAM usage reaches 3.4 GB per idle container.
