Daraxonrasib, a novel RAS(ON) inhibitor, doubled median overall survival to approximately 13.2 months versus roughly 6.6 months for chemotherapy in a 500-patient phase 3 trial for previously treated metastatic pancreatic cancer. The drug uses a partner-protein strategy to target previously undruggable RAS. Results showed fewer discontinuations than chemotherapy despite high adverse event rates.
