BIF Warns TRAI on Network Slicing

The Broadband India Forum told TRAI on September 15 that application-specific Quality-on-Demand could breach net neutrality by giving selected apps faster speeds or better access terms, amounting to paid prioritisation. It said network slicing can coexist with net neutrality if deployment is transparent and non-discriminatory, and urged TRAI to define typical speed unambiguously.
