Trump Signs Voluntary AI Safety Accord

President Trump signed the White House Accord on Super Intelligence on September 29 with Google, Anthropic, Meta, OpenAI, Nvidia and SpaceX, committing them to four layers of controls and audits for frontier AI models. The voluntary deal is not legally binding, carries no penalties, and does not require publishing audit results or naming auditors. Trump also renamed AI to Super Intelligence and unveiled America.gov.
