DOGE Alumni Launch VC-Backed Startup Special

Former members of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) launched a holding company called Special, backed by a16z and other former DOGE members. The startup aims to build an operating system to transform critical American industries with AI, targeting senior care first via a vertical called FigureHealth. The founders claim Main Street is as inefficient as the federal government and plan to vertically integrate by buying businesses in sectors like construction and manufacturing.
