Tesla CEO Elon Musk and AI chief Ashok Elluswamy announce unsupervised Full Self-Driving arrives in Q2 2027, but only inside Tesla Robotaxi zones. The feature lets owners add vehicles to the fleet rather than driving them anywhere. Current Robotaxi service covers six US metros with small geofences, avoiding highways and restricted areas. Safety remains the primary bottleneck for wider deployment.
