Michigan Gaming Board ends National Council partnership over Kalshi responsible gambling dispute

The Michigan Gaming Control Board terminated its partnership with National Council on Problem Gambling after the group joined prediction market operator Kalshi. Executive Director Henry Williams stated that this membership violates state gambling laws and responsible gaming missions. The agency also canceled sponsorship for an upcoming annual conference later in July.
