Applebee's Exposes Customer Data via App

Applebee's fixed a security flaw after a researcher found a hardcoded password in its Android app. The exposed database contained names, emails, dates of birth, phone numbers, and ZIP codes. The company had at least 8.5 million customers enrolled in its rewards program as of last year, though it did not disclose how many were affected by this specific breach.
