Xiaomi beats Samsung to stable Android 17

Xiaomi is the first non-Pixel brand to ship stable Android 17, rolling out HyperOS 3 to the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The update, around 8GB to 10GB, brings a June 2026 security patch but no Android 17 features like app bubbles. The Xiaomi 15T Pro is also getting access through Mi Pilot testing.
