Dallas AI Trash Truck Cameras Flag 21,000 Properties

Dallas installed side-facing AI cameras on 50 garbage trucks that photograph properties and assign blight scores for code violations. Over 21,000 properties were flagged, yielding 1,800 courtesy notices. The three-year, $2.5 million City Detect contract began testing in April.
