Allstate quits Broadcom, alleges vengeful audit

Allstate Insurance stopped using VMware and CA software. Broadcom then launched four audits covering Tanzu, VMware, Agile Operations, and Mainframe. Allstate alleges the audits only began after Broadcom learned of the decision to quit. Allstate removed VMware from all devices on September 12. Both companies are now in copyright infringement lawsuits.
