UNDP expands Stellar blockchain payments beyond pilot stage

The UNDP signed a new agreement with the Stellar Development Foundation to expand blockchain-based payments after pilots in five countries. The pilots cut distribution costs in Syria from 10% to 2% and kept payments running in Haiti during a cellular outage. The next phase will let country offices use blockchain payments across more programs.
