Baton Launches Public Valuations for 2M Small Businesses

Baton, a marketplace for buying and selling small businesses, has launched Business Profiles, publicly posting valuations and local competitor rankings for two million small businesses. The move, led by former Zillow executive Chat Joglekar, aims to address the coming wave of baby boomer retirements, where an estimated 2.3 million companies face ownership transitions with no exit plan.
