Xiaomi 18 series launches first with Snapdragon Elite Gen 6

Qualcomm will unveil the next generation of Snapdragon 8 Elite chips at its annual summit between September 22 and 24. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max features two 200MP cameras including a 1/1.28-inch LOFIC sensor while the regular model includes a 7,200mAh battery. Reports indicate that only the Pro Max will receive the $300 Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chip in September alongside the standard Elite variant.
