Kirit Somaiya, former BJP MP, sought a SEBI probe into the Sensex's sharp swing during the Closing Auction Session on August 27. The index plunged over 2,000 points in minutes, from around 77,200 to nearly 74,983, before closing 539 points lower at 76,934.
