SK Hynix Posts Record Profit, Warns of Shortage

SK Hynix posted a record operating profit of 60.54 trillion won in the second quarter, rising 632% from a year earlier. The company warned that supply will not keep pace with market growth through 2030 due to technical difficulties. It plans shareholder returns of about 100 trillion won for 2026 and expects HBM4 sales to overtake HBM3E by December.
