Mercedes-AMG CLE 646 Gets V8, Ditches Plug-In Hybrid

Mercedes-AMG launched the CLE 646 Spezialanfertigung, a limited-run coupe with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 637 horsepower. The rear-wheel-drive model replaces the plug-in hybrid powertrain, features a flat-plane crank, and weighs 375 pounds less than the standard CLE.
