China began low-volume production of domestic immersion DUV lithography machines, planning around five systems this year and roughly 20 in 2027. The manufacturer, Shanghai Aishengna Electronic Technology Group, absorbed teams from Huawei-affiliated Yuliangsheng and SMEE. The news wiped roughly $44 billion off ASML's market value.
