NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, launching August 30, 2026, can detect asteroids as small as 60 feet across using its 300-megapixel infrared camera. It will support NASA's dedicated Near-Earth Object Surveyor, launching in 2027, alongside the James Webb Space Telescope and Vera Rubin Observatory.
