Italy's antitrust regulator opens a probe into Apple's cloud services

Italy's antitrust regulator opened an investigation into Apple's cloud services under the European Union's Digital Markets Act. The probe examines whether Apple's conduct meets the law's requirements for gatekeeper platforms. The Italian regulator has previously fined Apple, including a roughly €98.6m penalty over App Tracking Transparency rules.
