Meta Danish Data Center Heats 11,000 Homes

Meta's data center in Odense, Denmark, channels server cooling heat into the city's district-heating network, warming approximately 11,000 households. The system uses heat pumps to raise water temperatures to 70-75°C for radiators. Engineering firm Ramboll designed the recovery system for operator Fjernvarme Fyn. Meta describes the project as innovative in scale, not in fundamental engineering.
