Multi-agent AI bugs hide between agents

A multi-agent research system had three agents: Advocate, Skeptic, and Synthesizer. The Synthesizer produced lopsided analyses because the Skeptic's web_search tool returned fewer results than the Advocate's. The Synthesizer weighted the better-sourced argument more heavily. The bug was in one agent's tool call that silently degraded another agent's input.
