Solar Foods wins €77.8M funding package for Factory 02 expansion

Solar Foods secured €77.8 million in grant and loan financing for Factory 02 construction. The package includes a €39.6 million grant and a €38.1 million R&D loan under the IPCEI programme. Solein, a protein grown from CO₂ and hydrogen, uses 0.1 percent of the land and 1 percent of the water of beef.
