Meta partners with Shanghai-based Fourier to build Max, a five-foot-tall humanoid robot developed in about three months. The 1.5-meter, 48-kilogram unit runs on Nvidia's Jetson Thor and features five-fingered hands. Fourier, which launched the GR-3 in 2025, previously shipped 300 humanoid robots in 2025. The collaboration focuses on research and experimentation rather than immediate sale.
