Tesla Discontinues Solar Roof Tiles

Tesla has told certified installers it will stop supplying Solar Roof tiles, redirecting its solarroof page to conventional panels. The product, unveiled in 2016, faced installation costs up to three times estimates, a $6 million settlement, and only about 3,000 installations nationwide.
