Raymond unit wins fighter aircraft assembly tender

Raymond Ltd's subsidiary JK Maini Global Aerospace won a tender to assemble wing and centre-fuselage structures for an indigenous Indian fighter aircraft programme, awarded by an undisclosed Indian aerospace and defence OEM. The contract value, customer and timeline were not disclosed. Raymond shares rose 1.49% to Rs 1130.25 on the BSE. The work uses the customer's existing infrastructure, avoiding heavy upfront investment.
