Samsung may drop Snapdragon for S27 Ultra

Samsung reportedly gave Qualcomm until mid-October to fix overheating issues with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. If unresolved, Samsung may drop the chip for the Galaxy S27 Ultra or switch to the Exynos 2700, which outscored the Snapdragon by 10% in Geekbench multi-core tests.
